Went away for a long weekend for my birthday. Really great time. House was fantastic, very rustic and lovely and warm. Yes and we even found more sheep.

Bathroom Renovations prt2

Mandy got her new boots.. And they are Clarks. Just a little bit happy. O Yes finally got the floor down in the bathroom after sorting out the sewer and plumbing. Had to put in new joists and reinforcement under bath area. All new plumbing and installed the new basin, new toilet and cistern. Slowly but surely.

Whats that noise, Tree fall...

Hi winds and lots and lots and lots of rain. Then a tree falls on the house. Luckly no broken windows, some minor damage to the roof but trying to get the insurance to sort it out was a bloody nightmare. They didn't sort anything out by the way. Time to swap companies...

More Digging

Sam helps out with the excavation. Cool overalls. I had to replace even more of the sewer and drains as all the old pipework was cracked. Dig a little find more. Touchwood this is the last bit..

Bathroom Renovations

No Bath so we are all washing a big bucket

New gate to keep our little man in the garden.

Started to renovate the bathroom after the toilet floor collapsed. Turns out the kitchen waste was not draining away. Seems like it had been leaking under the house for years. Yuk. The floor in the toilet and bathroom were rotten. After draining the ground underneath the house I realised that was only the start. The sewer outside was not draining away properly so as well as all the kitchen pipes leaking the sewer waste was coming back in... Double yuk. Luckily it wasn't the main sewer.
