On a cold and wet day, I took a number of photos of our poor town. As the diggers and wrecker cranes move in to rip the heart of the town away, I thought I would catch a glimpse of the destruction and disappearing beauty. Yes I know it has to be done but it is heartbreaking still. Mother nature is still the boss, but Lyttelton's soul will survive...
